On the professional front, Prabhas was last seen in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ along with Kriti Sanon. However, he is still reeling from the failure of his last release which received intense criticism over its portrayal of Ramayana.

The film has been on the receiving end for its unsatisfactory acting, poor VFX, and cringe dialogues. Apart from that, a section of the audience have pointed out that the makers even sexualized the content of the much-anticipated film that narrates the epic mythological story of Ramayana, which had an alleged budget of around Rs 600 Crores.

However, the actor has several interesting projects in the pipeline and fans are hoping for good content. He will next be seen in KGF director Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. The film, also starring Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, will release on September 28.

Apart from this, the actor also has Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 – AD in his kitty. The film, which was formerly called Project K, also star Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. ALSO READ | 'Kalki 2898 AD' Teaser OUT!
